Common Questions
Why Creative Therapies?
Creative Therapies are especially beneficial for individuals who find it difficult to articulate their emotions or thoughts through words alone. Beyond fostering insight, research shows that just 10 minutes of creative engagement can help regulate the nervous system, restoring balance and promoting overall well-being.
Who can benefit?
Children, teens and adults seeking dynamic, expressive alternative to traditional talk therapy.
For adults and teens, creative therapies serve as a powerful tool for self-reflection and insight.
For children, the process often involves creative play, providing a natural and developmentally appropriate way to express emotions and experiences.
What if I am not an artist?
No artistic experience is required—only a willingness to explore the creative process. Many people find creativity to be a soothing, grounding, and deeply therapeutic experience.
Providing a safe and welcoming space for all.

We acknowledge with gratitude that the land we call home and rely on for our work with others, is Treaty One Land. It is the original land of the Ininiw, Anishnaabeg, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and the birthplace and homeland of the Métis people. As treaty relatives, we recognize that we have a place and responsibility on the collective path of the healing road of reconciliation. We seek to honour historic treaties, and we commit to the ongoing work of reconciliation, education, justice, and healing.
