We acknowledge with gratitude that the land we call home and rely on for our work with others, is Treaty One Land. It is the original land of the Ininiw, Anishnaabeg, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and the birthplace and homeland of the Métis people. As treaty relatives, we recognize that we have a place and responsibility on the collective path of the healing road of reconciliation. We seek to honour historic treaties, and we commit to the ongoing work of reconciliation, education, justice, and healing.
